Fishing Report July 19th, 2015

Dear friends here is the fishing report of last week.

For few days we had some strong winds that no boats where aloud to go out.
After those windy days the fishing has been fantastic!!!!!!!!
Mr. Bernard Duane caught a 450Lb blue marlin and his partner, an excellent couch, Mr. Joe Harris last past Sunday. Congratulations friend!s. Mr. Harris and his friends has been coming to Loreto, at the Hotel Oasis, for more than 30 years. With the travel agency CassTours; A life time friendship.
This Marlin was caught by las Boyas, wich is by El Pulpito, the fisght lasted about 1:40 minutes. The captain was Francisco Martinez Castro.
There is plenty of Yellowtail, Jurel, the size is about 17 to 32 Lb. Dorado is around Loreto, south and North, unfortunately they are not the legal size to take them out. Sea bass (cabrilla), Ruster fish (pez gallo), & Triger fish (cochito) can been found. The fishing action has been between La choya and Las Lagrimas.
There has been NO problem to get bait: sardine & mackerel.
Hook size: 6 & 8
Fishing line: 25 to 50 Lb.
